After providing an initial fix with Patch 10.1.0 on the same day Football Manager 2010 was released, Sigames have just produced a new one - version 10.1.1 - which updates the first patch.
It doesn't contain anything revolutionary - there is no database update for example, but it does offer a fix for many small problems you might have encountered, such as the “running out of memory” bug when starting a match (a major cause of crash dumps) or the loss of the activation key in Uniloc.
But please note that there are different versions of the patch, depending on how you play the game. People playing via Steam do not need the patch, as the update will be incorporated automatically. If you’re playing the digital version of the game, like the one featured on FootManager.net, you will find a relevant version of the patch below. In all cases, please do not install the patch manually, as you will then have to reinstall the whole game.
